DareNET Services Help System
Select a Service: ChanServ, NickServ, MemoServ, SpamServ, HelpServ, Global NickServ Accounts Before you can use ChanServ or be added to channel userlists, you and your users will need to register an account with NickServ. See /NickServ HELP to learn how. Communicating with ChanServ ChanServ uses a standard interface for each command in its command list. Commands can be issued in the following manner: /MSG ChanServ format /ChanServ format .command format (in-channel fantasy commands) These three ways are demonstrated below: /MSG ChanServ OP #DareNET NiTeMaRe /ChanServ OP #DareNET NiTeMaRe .op #DareNET NiTeMaRe If a command is given in a channel, and the channel parameter is not given, the channel that the command was issued in will be used: .OP NiTeMaRe Additionally, fantasy/in-channel commands may be used in any registered channel, regardless if ChanServ is in the channel or not. Some commands, such as NETINFO don't require a channel. If one is supplied it will be ignored. If a command takes additional parameters aside from channel, they will be expected as well. See /ChanServ HELP <command> for information on what a command does, and its exact syntax. --------------For more information see:---------------- http://www.darenet.org/support http://wiki.darenet.org Maintained by DareNET's Support Team <support[at]darenet.org> | services-darenet 1.2.0 |
