Just a quick note, services accounts have been integrated with our site. This means you'll need to use your NickServ account name and password to login to the site/forums. We're working on allowing accounts to be created via the website; however, for now, if you don't have a NickServ account, you'll need to connect to the network and use NickServ's REGISTER command. As always, should you need assistance feel free to stop by #Support or contact us through the site. |

We've always been committed to allowing legitimate users to connect to DareNET, one of the reasons we allow registered users to bypass RBL checks. Well, in keeping with this commitment, we've made the decision to allow connections from Tor exit nodes. Tor has many legitimate uses and DareNET recognizes this. However, we also recognize that anonymous access is also abused by those who want nothing more than to cause trouble; therefore, we have updated our Tor policy to reflect this, which can be found here. It also contains information on how channel operators can easily ban all Tor users from their channel, if they so choose. We hope you enjoy the increased anonymity access to DareNET that Tor provides. Please note that this means that Tor exit nodes are no longer automatically banned, as was previously the case. |
